Special guest Emerald Rae will lead the class in several
traditional Cape Breton and Scottish style tunes. This workshop
is appropriate for Advanced Beginner - Advanced players.

Workshop: Classical Violin Techniques
Inge Engler will be back to introduce classical
violin
techniques through a Bach minuet. She will also be available to review
vibrato. This workshop
is also appropriate for anyone from the Advanced beginner - Advanced level.

Festival
Veasey Park
Groveland, MA ESM fiddlers of all ages will play during this
event. We will also have Irish step dancers. It's a great family event,
so we hope to see you there! |

Workshop Wednesday: Intro
to Session Playing
A 90 minute class specifically designed to help
fiddlers develop and practice skills used in sessions. Even if you have never
been to a session before and are curious, come and try it out! If you have
already been going but would like to improve your playing and learn some new
tricks, this is also for you!

Workshop Wednesday: Waltzes & Duets
A 90 minute workshop with a theme of "Waltzes and Duets." We will
play a variety of waltzes with harmony and melody parts. Fiddlers can pick
provided melody and harmony parts or come and make up their own harmony. Bill
Perry will be returning as our guitarist and Mel's mom Marilyn will be on upright
bass. |
